Animism is the belief that humans, animals, plants and natural phenomena possess the immaterial element – the soul. This primaeval faith became the subject of the design exhibition curated by the famous trendwatcher Lidewij Edelkoort.
The exhibition ‘Animism’ took place at Formex fair and was a part of the Summer Design Week 2019 festival that ran in Stockholm at the end of August. It consisted of eight sections: Feather, Animals, Pebble, Shell, Wave, Moon, Seedpod and Twig. Here is a scrupulous photo report of this event.
